We deliver premium seasoned red gum — and stack it wherever you want it — right across Melbourne's inner-east and inner-city suburbs. Find your area below.
Based in inner Melbourne, we run regular deliveries throughout the following suburbs. The eight below are our core patch — the runs we're on most weeks of the year — and each has its own page with local delivery detail, access notes and pricing.
Beyond them, regular runs reach another 23 suburbs across the inner city and inner east, the garden belt from Hawthorn to Balwyn, bayside and the south, and the eastern and north-eastern suburbs. They're grouped by region further down this page. Not listed but nearby? Give us a call — if we can reach you, we'll deliver.
Every suburb below gets the same service — seasoned red gum, delivered and stacked where you want it — but the delivery day looks different depending on where you live. Here's what it actually involves in each part of Melbourne we cover.
Richmond, Prahran and Windsor are terrace and shopfront country: narrow side streets, rear laneways, and very little room to leave a pile of wood on the kerb. Deliveries here are planned around parking and access — we carry the load through the hallway or down the lane and stack it in the courtyard or against the garage. Through South Yarra, Toorak, Armadale, Malvern, Malvern East and Glen Iris the blocks open up into established gardens, and stacks usually end up down the side of the house or in a shed at the back.
This is Melbourne's established garden belt, strung along the rail line and the tram corridors. Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Kew, Camberwell, Canterbury, Balwyn and Ashburton are full of period homes on generous blocks, many with more than one working fireplace. Orders here tend to run larger — two or three cubic metres at a time — stacked in a shed, under a verandah or along a side fence. Long driveways are common, and carrying the load to the back of the block is a normal part of the job.
From Albert Park, Middle Park and St Kilda down through Brighton and Brighton East, and inland to Elsternwick and Caulfield, bayside delivery means heritage streetscapes and — close to the water — sea air that makes covered storage worthwhile. Many streets here have rear lanes behind the old shopping strips, which makes stacking at the back gate simple. Around the busy strips themselves — Acland Street, Bay Street, Church Street and Glen Huntly Road — we time drops to avoid peak parking hours.
These are the long runs, and we batch them so each trip covers several deliveries. Box Hill, Doncaster, Templestowe, Nunawading, Mitcham, Ringwood, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley and Burwood are committed wood-heater suburbs, where winter orders of three cubic metres or more are common. Out in Eltham and Greensborough it's bush blocks, mudbrick homes and steep gravel driveways, with stacks usually going straight into a woodshed under cover. Because these runs are planned ahead, booking a day or two out is the normal pattern.
Wherever you are on this page, the deal doesn't change: premium seasoned red gum at $499 per cubic metre, minimum one cubic metre, delivered and stacked wherever you want it — not dumped on the nature strip and left for you to move. Through the cooler months most suburbs are delivered within a day or two; call and we'll give you a real window for your run.
