Red Gum Firewood Delivered & Stacked in Elsternwick

Around Glen Huntly Road, Elsternwick 3185 is a settled suburb of Edwardian, Californian bungalow and art deco homes on comfortable garden blocks, most with a fireplace or wood heater in regular use through winter. They reward good hardwood — seasoned red gum that lights fast and burns long and clean.

We deliver red gum throughout Elsternwick and stack it where you keep it — the side of the house, the garage store or straight to the hearth. The stacking service means the wood ends up neatly where you want it, not heaped out the front.

Elsternwick's interwar and Californian bungalow stock comes with a delivery quirk we plan for: a lot of blocks have rear-lane access. The lanes running behind the streets off Glen Huntly Road let us bring the ute to the back gate and stack the wood metres from where you'll burn it, instead of carrying it through the house. If your place backs onto a lane, mention it when you call — it usually makes the whole job quicker.

Most Elsternwick stacks end up down the side of the house, against the garage wall, or under the back verandah out of the weather. In the art deco flats and semis closer to the station there's usually a shared side path or a small courtyard instead — we've stacked neatly in both. On and around the Glen Huntly Road strip itself, parking is at a premium through shopping hours, so for addresses close to the strip we'll suggest a window that avoids the busiest part of the day. Homes toward Caulfield South and Brighton East sit on the same run, so those deliveries often pair up.

Wherever the stack goes, the routine is the same: we carry each piece in by hand, stack it neatly where it will stay dry, and leave the gate, path and driveway exactly as we found them. Neighbouring Ripponlea and Gardenvale don't have their own pages yet, but if that's you, call — you're minutes from this run and we'll almost certainly reach you.
